I think the title is quite general. and no, im not going to talk about how u define music or some kind of music revolution u did in your essay.. Guess, this is just some random thought of mine and well, to acknowledge u guys that im so into music.
First of all, i bet everyone love to hear music right? well, even 2 years old kid shake their body to the beat. Nothing to be suprised to know that. Most of them have been exposed to gadget in early stage, cant blame the society getting sickening though, cause the gadgets nowadays are something really useful (for the baby, it is used to avoid them from distracting the parent). Well, im not going to discuss about that. The day before, i was bored and ended up watching a video related to types of intelligences. I do not know wether it is an actual facts or based on any research, but it do makes sense, cause based on what i remember the video mention about "natural intelligence" and "music intelligence", the people who had this kind of intelligence do exist. The video even give some example, for instance, katnis everdeen , the protaganist from hunger games movie she has this natural intelligence where she can survive and think quick how to avoid herself from getting caught. I do think this makes sense because there are lots of people out there really have this ability or intelligence. I bet people who want to hire CIA agent have to find people like this who has natural intelligence otherwise she or he can't last for seconds when doing all those risky jobs. I think i have to straight to my point, im going to emphasize about music intelligence. I found this type of intelligence is quite unique and somewhat relate to me. They said that people who more into music intelligence is not only humming or sing to the song or getting in love with the song when they hear them but they likely to hear the beat, think what kind of genre of the song or think what is the instrument played for the song. I AM THAT KIND OF PERSON. eventhough i dont know how to play any instruments hehe.
I know that sounds so annoying, haha but the truth is i am universal listener. Not some kind of person who sticks into one genre or, you know, do not explore another un-mainstream music. I tell u what, the songs that played on the radio is mostly a pop songs or maybe a lil bit hip hop or r&b getting mixed up. I think you are not into music much if u only hear to selena gomez, taylor swift, justin bieber or any featuring artists. ITS NOT LIKE I HAVENT HEARD ANY OF THEM. My point here is, what if you try to explore another music which is not too mainstream, something underground and u know, the pure in it? Like, if u happen to hear a hip hop song, listen to tupac, eminem (his old songs are quite good), 50 cent. I suggest you should hear EMINEM'S SPACEBOUND AND WHEN IM GONE. I love to hear those whenerever i feel emotional. I believe that you dont know much about Of Monster and Men or Wye Oak or Birdy. Try to listen to WYE OAK-CIVILLIAN. They are musician that those i very loved to hear. They know for their genre indie folk and rock-folk. Do u ever heard songs from singer in 60s or 70s? Nowadays i love to listen to KILLING ME SOFTLY BY FUGEES. and QUEEN- BOHEMIAN RPAHSODY. They had the best song produced, not the songs that we heard today which most of them talk about ass, women and money.
Back when i was in form 2, i really love AVENGED SEVENFOLD. I love them cause they produced quality music and of course the lyrics that they created are wayyyyy much better than we heard nowadays. They talked about life, pain and they do really catch our heart. One of my favourite is Seize the Day lyrics. Apart from that, i do love them because the guitarist is hot as hell. lol
and then, i explore any rock/hard-rock/hardcore/metal genre artist. I do love artist like Nirvana, Aerosmith, BMTH, they are cool. Oh yeah, I also like this band called LA DISPUTE, i think u might feel weird about my music taste after hear one of their song, but do believe me, i LOVE MUSIC. you should hear my fav, NINE.
Well, i dont have any specification about which genre i love to hear the most, caused i've always attracted to the lyrics first aside of anything else. I think eminem has a very wide vocabulary cause all those words that he blurted when he raps are somewhat odd to hear. i found its quite interesting too.
I think i have a lot of time wasted, thats why i came out with idea to post this maybe u called it funny post, but i sure have the points here, I think michael jackson will agree to me and also any other great musician like, adam levine , he might found that i do UNDERSTAND MUSIC hahahaha..
